Trying N-Stalker-Free ( 5 Screenshot )

I did a few screenshot while trying n-stalker on one of our internal machine.
I though it would be nice to share.

[ Update: I will post more as soon as i get my hands on the paid version ]

Welcome.jpg
First the welcome window. Well... if you get the free version you cant do much there. this is more like nagging window.

GetCommercial.jpg
Then if you try to click on something you get this terrible get the paid version window.

updateEngine.jpg
I have to admit this is a nice update engine they have.

mainscanningwindow.jpg
Finally got to the main screen. Started a scan on one stupid injected form.

reportOptions.jpg
The options on the report engine are not bad. the format are there but who needs anything more than html.

Voila. Cheers for today.

SanDisk TakeTV vs iPod Video/Touch/...

I have both an iPod and Sansa SanDisk TakeTV; been using them both for a few weeks.
It is now time for me to voice my opinion.

I wont come back to the description part, you can see it all (with pictures) on my previous post.

It is also no secret now that I like the Sansa TakeTV a lot. ( Perhaps I am not objective anymore )

Lets cut to the point.

Video Format
iPod
  • mp4 is nice quality but honestly I am sick of converting files.
    SanDisk
  • AVI is ok. playing nicely for now. I am still waiting to see how they are going to upgrade the codecs in the future.

    Video Quality
Amazing for both iPod and SanDisk. The only thing is that sometime the iPod is flickers but I am not sure if it is because of the device or just because of my movies.

    Transfer from/to computer
Come on Apple. iTunes is nice but perhaps it is time to open it a little.
The transfer for the TakeTV was pretty much the same as a normal smartkey.

    TV Dock
TakeTV dock is a little bigger than the iPod one but still very small and pretty. I like it.

    Price
It is funny to think the TakeTV is so cheap. It is like democratization of device.

    Conclusion
I think I made my point. This is serious competition for the iPod Video. wondering what comes next.
  • Got a SanDisk TakeTV and loving it.

Ok so here is the thing. I watch a lot of series. so one of my friends got me a nice taketv to try.

The id is that on top of supporting the usual mp4 format it also has avi which became by far the standard way to watch videos.

I have it for two weeks now and had no problem. The remote is practicle and I think that the part I like the most about it is how small the device actually is.

    What comes in the box.

The main unit is basically a smartkey which is a little bigger probably because of infrared on the stick. Then you have the remote and the tv dock.

My experience with the iPhone 1.1.2 Firmware ...

The installation of the new firmware was not too hard... thanks to all the tutorials around... unlocked fine...
I am still waiting for the day when the voicemail button will actually do something on Orange IL.

In case anyone is using Orange Israel (Orange IL).
The MNC is 01 and the MCC is 425 which mean that the link for the plist file is 42501.plist .
I also patched AppSupport framework. Replaced FR with IL and 33 with 972 (and yes it worked somehow)

Now it is time for the aftermath.
Why on earth did I upgrade. What was I thinking...

After a few days playing with it, it seems like the apps have smother animation.
The icon of the Edge changed and it doesnt beep me anymore every time I loose my wiifi range.

    Except that NADA.

This is the unofficial list from modmyiphone.com , if you look at it closely you will understand that you don't need any of this.

    • Faster and smoother operatability, you don't feel the lag anytime during a screen change
    • Apps, including 3rd party, respond to functions must faster.
    • 95% of the Apps for v1.1.1 work (they all haven't been tested yet)
    • The volume of the speakers is more louder and does not tear the speaker on high volumes or pitch sounds.
    • The International support with AppSupport makes it now possible to: Receive service SMS's from banks and other operators which are now readable without the gabbled text
    • The Caller ID works without mentioning the country code before the number in the Address Book.
    • VM Notification now works! (Concurrent problem with Rogers and Fido customers)
    • Processing speed and bus frequency of the processor has been bumped up to 412 MHz CPU Freq. and a 103 MHz Bus Freq. (Originally 400 MHz CPU Freq. and a 100 MHz Bus Freq in v1.1.1). This is documented by SysInfo
    • MUCH BETTER Battery Management -
*Wi-Fi life is improved as it now switches into a less power hungry standy mode
*New standby modes for EDGE and Wi-Fi. EDGE standby icon indicates a blue block instead of "E" and Wi-Fi standy icon indicates grey signal strength instead of blue. In turn, the iPhone now searches for EDGE or Wi-Fi only when prompted by the user (opening Safari, Youtube, etc)
    • When entering a password, the shift key acted as CAPS LOCK in 1.1.1. This has been fixed.
    • When you turn off the phone and turn it back on, it goes straight to the home screen instead of the slider screen.

    Orange Operator Logo for iPhone

Got tired of having the Orange text spinning on top of my screen so I did an operator logo for Orange.

    Screenshoot

    115693

You can download the pngs from the link below.

    http://rapidshare.com/files/65253369/Orange.zip

If you don't know what you are doing please do not try this. I am not responsible if you screw up your phone. Please make sure you backup anything you overwrite including the original operator logos.

You will need to patch the springboard first. ( Instruction here )
Then dump the pngs where needed (read the tutorial!) in the /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app folder. (Again make sure to backup anything you overwrite)

Updated: Yes the name of the pngs are Default_CARRIER_ATT.png and FSO_CARRIER_ATT.png .
